From the subway station “Westfalenhallen” (line U45) you can reach the exhibition grounds in just 10 minutes from Dortmund main station. Alternatively, the U46 will also take you to the “Westfalenhallen” stop in about 5 minutes. The stops are barrier-free and well signposted.

Visa form
In accordance with the decree issued by the Federal Foreign Office on 24.07.2013, a letter of invitation from the trade fair company is generally not required. If you still require such a letter, you can create it yourself by filling out the form with your personal details. After submitting the form, you will receive your invitation letter by e-mail.
WIFI
Messe Dortmund offers free WIFI via the CityWLAN of the City of Dortmund. Connect to the “Hotspot Westfalenhallen” network, accept the terms and conditions and you can start using the WIFI.
Accessibility
The exhibition grounds are completely barrier-free. Halls 4 to 8 are connected at ground level, and the upper halls and the congress area are accessible via elevators. Disabled toilets with Eurokey locking systems are available in all halls. Wheelchairs can be borrowed for a deposit at the North Entrance (limited availability). Westenhellweg is Dortmund’s most popular shopping street with many stores and the modern Thier-Galerie. Away from the main mile, you will discover charming, owner-managed stores on the quality route. The Rosenterrassen restaurant, Kietztörtchen, Brauhaus Wenkers and the lively Brückstraßenviertel – just a few minutes away from the trade fair – offer a range of culinary delights.
Trade fair visit with dog
DOGS ARE WELCOME!
We would like to point out that visitors with dogs must carry a vaccination card or a veterinary certificate confirming a valid rabies vaccination when entering the fair.
Access with dogs is only possible via the North Entrance, where the documents are checked.
Dogs must be proven to have been vaccinated against rabies at least 21 days before the trade fair. Please observe these regulations to ensure smooth admission with your dog.
