Westfalenhallen Unternehmungsgruppe GmbH endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Act (BFSG) and the Ordinance on the Accessibility Act (BFSGV). This declaration applies to https://www.jagdundhund.de/.

Our website largely complies with the BFSG and BFSGV. However, there are still some barriers on our pages that we are actively working on and want to remove in the future. There are the following exceptions and incompatibilities:
Non-accessible content
The following content is not barrier-free as it is not compatible with the underlying harmonized standard EN 301 549:

- On some pages there are links without link text.
- On individual pages, links cannot be distinguished from the surrounding text.
- The contrast between text and background is too low on all pages.
- On some pages, there are navigation elements that cannot be accessed with the screen reader. This can confuse screen reader users and make it more difficult to use.
- There are drop-down elements on several pages that cannot be expanded using the keyboard. This makes it difficult for users of assistive technologies to read the entire page.
- There are ‘iframe’ elements without labeling on individual pages. Navigation with screen readers to the iframes is difficult.
- There are form fields without labels on individual pages. It is difficult to navigate to the form fields with screen readers.
- There are buttons without labels on individual pages. It is difficult to navigate to the buttons with screen readers.
- On all pages, a parent element has no corresponding child element. This can confuse screen reader users, as content is expected but not present.
- There are informative images without captions on several pages. It is difficult to navigate to the images with screen readers.
- On some pages, error messages are not accessible for screen readers.
- On almost all pages, error messages that are displayed directly within the input fields are not accessible for screen readers.
- Video content is currently not fully accessible with screen readers.
- Some linked documents (e.g. PDFs) are not available in an accessible form.
